Installing on Fire TV or Android TV

A TV has no browser, so you need a small helper app to fetch the file. This takes about five minutes, and you only have to do it once.

1. Step 1 — Allow unknown sources

   Fire TV

   Settings › My Fire TV › Developer options › Install unknown apps — then enable the helper app from step 2.

   Android TV / Google TV

   Settings › System › About, then click Android build seven times to unlock developer options. Afterwards: Settings › Apps › Security & restrictions › Unknown sources.

2. Step 2 — Install a downloader app

   A TV cannot download files on its own. Search your store for one of these — all are free:

   • •Downloader by AFTVnews — the usual choice on Fire TV. In the Amazon Appstore and on Google Play.
   • •File Commander / X-plore File Manager — for Android TV boxes without a Downloader app.

3. Step 3 — Enter the address

   Open the downloader app and type the short address shown on the card above:

   novaraiptv.com/tv

   Confirm, wait for the download to finish, then choose Install.

4. Step 4 — Clean up

   Delete the APK file to free up space and turn unknown sources back off. Novara updates itself from within the app, so you will not need the downloader again.

Nothing happens after the download? Some TV launchers hide the install prompt behind a notification. Open the downloader app again — the file is still there and can be installed from its list.

Google Play or direct download?

Both are standalone apps and can be installed side by side. Switching does not carry over your data: if you want to move from here to the Google Play version, create a backup code in the settings first.
